COURSE |

Gujarat
Safety Council
conducts Post Diploma
Course in Industrial Safety
since 1989. It is a two
years part time course
with an intake capacity
of 25 students. The medium
of instruction is English.
The Course provides comprehensive
education on industrial
safety with emphasis on
the academic as well as
practical aspects. It
is designed to provide
in-depth knowledge in
Industrial Safety, Health
and Environment. It covers
seven compulsory subjects
and one elective subject.
This course is recognized
by Department of Technical
Education, Govt. of Gujarat
and the certificate is
awarded by Technical Examinations
Board, Gandhinagar. |

Council has designed this
course on Industrial Environment
Management which runs
as part-time evening program
to enable the working
employees to undertake
this course. Considering
that industry being one
of the main sources of
environmental pollution,
the course is structured
keeping in mind the requirement
of Industry. The main
objective is to train
Safety Personnel working
in industries to enable
them to deal with the
day to day environmental
problems and to take its
remedial measures. Further
they can also play a better
role in the Hazardous
Waste Disposal & Treatment
Projects.
